Mildred "Micki" Evelyn (Smith) Kiser

Funeral for Mildred E. “Micki” Kiser, age 100 of Palestine, TX, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 2, 2022, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel, 110 S. 8th Street, Chickasha, OK.  Ron Blankinship will officiate.

Micki was born the daughter of Charlie O. Smith and Maudie J. (Manley) Smith on October 10, 1922, in Konawa, Oklahoma.  She died on November 28, 2022, in Palestine, Texas.

Micki grew up in Wanette, OK and moved to Oklahoma City in 1941.  She married John Kiser on September 1, 1943 and they moved in 1960 to Lawton, OK where they lived until moving to Rush Springs, OK in 1971.  In 1988, they moved to Chickasha where Micki lived until moving to Palestine, TX to be near her son due to her health. While in Chickasha, Micki was a member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Roy, Ed, and Oliver; two sisters, Dora and Juanita; great granddaughter, Kayla; daughter, Edith Bryant; and her husband, John Kiser.

Micki is survived by her son, Charles Kiser and wife Connie of Palestine, TX; son-in-law, Anthony Bryant of Denison, TX; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
