Nathan Elbert Franklin

Nathan Elbert Franklin, age 47, of Palestine, Texas, passed away on Monday, the 27th day of March 2023, and is now in the presence of our loving Lord and Savior. Nathan was born on the 17th day of December 1975 in Houston, Texas.

Nathan was a loving son, father, and husband. He was full of life. Nathan enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, and fishing. When Nathan was not on the road as a truck driver, you could find him at a pool hall playing pool. Nathan had a love for others and was a true friend. He will truly be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Judy Franklin.

Left to cherish Nathan’s memory are his loving wife, Cindy Patterson Franklin; daughter, Brittany Rainer; sons, Charles “Chuck” Franklin, and Johnathan Bird; brother; Robert Paul; uncle, Terry Franklin, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will gather for a private memorial service to honor Nathan’s life at a later date.

Cremation services for Nathan Elbert Franklin are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
