Noble David Trimble

David Trimble, age 65, of Palestine, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, the 25th day of March 2022, at Palestine Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Pittsburg, Texas, on the 18th day of May 1956 to parents Arnold Eugene “Gene” Trimble and Nelda “Jane” Boyd Trimble. 

Mr. Trimble was a Unites States Army Veteran, Presidential Honor Guard, and retired from Exxon Mobil after a long career.  He dedicated his life to the Lord many years ago and lived every day to honor Him.  Mr. Trimble and his wife, Kathern, made the Lord a priority in their lives and attended Broyles Chapel Baptist Church.  Mr. Trimble was a generous man with a loving heart.  He adored his wife and family, and he always appreciated the times they were able to spend quality time together.  Mr. Trimble was a genuine outdoorsman.  Hunting and fishing were passions that he enjoyed, along with cooking.  He was truly loved by his family and friends and will be missed. 

He joins in Heaven his parents Gene and Jane Trimble, and his sister, Teri Gooch.

Mr. Trimble is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Kathern Trimble; daughter, Toni Rae Trimble of Palestine; son, Noble “Derrick” Trimble and wife Candice of Palestine; brother, Donald Trimble and wife Durenda of Colorado; grandchildren, Gavin Wilson, Katherine “Katie” Trimble, Justice Wilson, and Kacie Jayne Trimble.  Mr. Trimble also leaves behind multiple aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service to celebrate David Trimble’s life is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 2nd day of April 2022 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.

Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the start of the service in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.
