Pamela Scott Obituary

Pamela Lea Scott, age 78, of Palestine, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, the 16th day of September 2025. Pamela was born on the 18th day of August 1947 in Ellensburg, Washington to parents Bob Thomas and Laveta Barrett Thomas.

Pamela's presence was a gift to all who knew her. She was a cherished member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), where she spent her days with her friends’ making memories and sharing laughter. An avid reader, Pamela's collection of Taste of Home magazines was a testament to her love for cooking. Her culinary skills were only matched by her ability to turn any meal into a celebration of togetherness. She found joy in watching westerns like Gunsmoke and she was fascinated with Forensic Files.

The greatest joy in Pamela's life was her family. She often said that her most significant accomplishment was being a devoted wife and a loving mother. Shopping trips with her daughter were a treasured memory that Crystal will cherish forever. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and friendship that will continue to inspire those she left behind.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Mark Scott; parents, Bob and Laveta Thomas; and her son, T.J. Scott.

Left behind to cherish the memories that were made are her loving daughter, Crystal Spicer and husband Gary; brother, Rudy Thomas; and her grandchildren, Haylee Spicer, Krista Spicer, and Joshua Spicer. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.

Pamela will be laid to rest at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Arlington, Texas next to her husband Terry Scott.
