Debra Patricia “Pat” Eubanks, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence for 75 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, the 24th day of April 2025. Born on the 25th day of November 1949, in Palestine, Texas, Pat was the cherished daughter of Orval Curtis Kelly and Betty Cathryn Ray. Her vibrant spirit and loving nature will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Pat's life was characterized by her unwavering love for her family, which was the cornerstone of her existence. She is survived by her devoted sons, Patrick Goff and his wife Ashley, and Jason Arden with his wife Belinda. Pat was a beloved sister to her brothers, Mike Kelly and his wife Bonnie, and Kevin Kelly with his wife Vickie. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who were the recipients of her endless affection and whom she loved to spoil at every opportunity.
For five decades, Pat honed her craft as a beautician, a profession that allowed her to touch the lives of countless individuals with her creativity and kindness. Her salon was more than a place for haircuts; it was a sanctuary where friendships were made, and community ties were strengthened. Pat's clients often left not only looking better but also feeling uplifted by her caring nature and genuine interest in their lives.
Pat's determination, strong will, and resilience were qualities that not only defined her career but also her approach to life. She was a fierce defender of her family, always ready to offer support or stand up for them in any situation. Her love was her armor, and she wielded it with grace and tenacity.
Beyond her role as a hairdresser and matriarch, Pat was a creative soul with a kind heart. Her interests were many, but they all revolved around the central theme of love and care for those around her. Whether it was keeping her family looking their best with her gifted hands or simply sharing moments of joy with her grandchildren, Pat's actions were always infused with love.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Betty Kelly; sister, Cathryne Honea and brother-in-law Bobby; and her brother, Joe Kelly.
