Patsy Lee Douglas, age 74, of Elkhart, is now singing with the angels in Heaven. Mrs. Douglas passed away on Sunday the 6th day of June 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on the 13th day of June 1946 in Searcy, Arkansas, to parents Ben and Lucille Galloway Bennett.
Mrs. Douglas was a loving, Christian lady who loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a devoted wife and went above and beyond to care for husband until his passing. She was an excellent cook and people would travel from all around just to sit at her table and eat one of her meals.
Mrs. Douglas is preceded in death by her parents Ben and Lucille Bennett and husband, Mac Arthur Douglas.
She is survived by her daughter, April Robin Douglas; sons, Clayton Ben Douglas and wife Angela, Jesse Aaron Douglas and wife Amanda; sister, Ann Wright and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Caleb Moody and wife Kelsey, Luke Moody, Trent Douglas and wife Lou, Hunter Douglas, Kimber Gray and husband Zack, Morgan Mills and wife Delana, Bailey Bagent and wife Ashley, Ty Douglas and wife Kailee, Grace Douglas and Justice Douglas. Mrs. Douglas is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and a multitude of friends.
A graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Douglas’s life is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 8th day of June 2021 at Douglas Family Cemetery in Slocum, Texas.
