Perry Frank Leamons, of Grapeland, left this world for his heavenly home on Monday, the 18th day of January 2021. He passed away at his home at the age of 73. Perry was born on the 12th day of January 1948, in Crockett, Texas, to parents J.D. Leamons and Emma Lou Cutler Leamons.
Perry served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for Dow Chemical Company and retired after a long career. Perry loved the Lord and was a child of God. He enjoyed fishing and being in the great outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents J.D. and Emma Leamons; wife of 54 years, Linda Leamons; son, Perry “Todd” Leamons; brother, Leon Leamons; and sister-in-law, Bernice Leamons.
Perry leaves behind his son Andrew Leamons of Grapeland; nieces, Brenda Russell and Lesia Rounsavall; great-niece, Leslie Russell; and numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service with Military Honors for Perry Leamons is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon, on Sunday, the 24th day of January 2021 at San Pedro Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas. Ben Rhone will be officiating the service.
