Richard Clyde Bridges, age 65, of Frankston, Texas passed away on Monday, the 17th day of July 2023. Richard was born in Leesville, Louisiana, on the 6th day of October 1957, to parents Clyde Edward Bridges and Mary Maxine Walker.
Richard was a proud alumnus of Leesville High School, where he demonstrated his musical prowess as part of the school band. His talent on the drums was undeniable, a gift he had nurtured since the tender age of three. His passion for rhythm and melody was a constant thread throughout his life, providing both a creative outlet and a source of joy for those fortunate enough to hear him play.
After high school, Richard embarked on a career in the United States Air Force. His dedication to his country was evident in the years he spent in service, a period of his life he always looked back on with pride. His retirement from the Air Force marked the end of a significant chapter in his life but also the beginning of new adventures.
One of these adventures was his love for motorcycling. Richard was a member of the Hog Chapter, sharing his passion with a community of like-minded enthusiasts. The open road was a place of freedom and exhilaration for him, a way to explore the world on his terms. Richard will be deeply missed, but his beat goes on.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Mary Bridges.
