Rick Dewayne Walters

Rick Dewayne Walters, age 68, of Palestine, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, the 10th day of May 2020.  He was born on the 26th day of April 1952, in Laurel, Mississippi, to James E. Walters and Addie McWilliams Walters.

Rick had a career in sales in the oil field industry. When not working, he enjoyed spending his time in the great outdoors.  He was an avid gun collector and took pleasure in hunting and grilling.  Rick was a Christian and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. 

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Addie Walters.

Rick is survived by his wife of 49 years, Deborah Walters; sons, James Dwayne Walters and wife Jennifer, Jeremy Walters and wife Samantha, all of Palestine; sisters, Angela Ploch and Sherea Walters; brothers, Gary Walters and Rodrick Walters; and grandchildren, Jamie, Jared, Dylan, Alyssa, Selena, Alexis, Ava and Alex.

Cremation services for Rick Dewayne Walters are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
