Ricky Carroll Wagner

Ricky Carroll Wagner departed this life for his home with the Lord in Heaven on the 26th day of September 2021.  Ricky passed away in Abilene, Texas at the age of 63.  He is now reunited with his wife, Diane L. Wagner, who left too soon.  He was born in Tyler, Texas on the 29th day of October 1957 to parents Richard Wagner and Mary Jane Wiggins Wagner.

Ricky was a thoughtful and compassionate individual.  He was a family man who took great pride in caring for his family.  He always made sure they were loved and never without anything they needed.  He owned and operated a trucking company for over thirty years.  Many would consider Ricky a workaholic, but he found joy in staying busy.  When he wasn’t driving the roads, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.      

Ricky joins in Heaven his parents Richard and Mary Jane Wagner, wife Dianna “Diane” Lynn Wagner, and brother Jerry Wagner.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Amanda Stiver and husband Bobby of Frankston, Texas; brother, David Wagner and wife Lynn of Concord, Texas; brother-in-law, Tim Dobbs of Flint, Texas; sisters-in-law, Debbie Knight of Gilmer, Texas, and Becky Hardin of Kyle, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Wagner, Jaysa Stiver, McKinsey Stiver, and Allysa Stiver; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A graveside service to celebrate Ricky Wagner’s life is to be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon, on Sunday the 17th day of October 2021 at Flint Cemetery in Flint, Texas.

Funeral services for Ricky Carroll Wagner are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
