Robert Harold Vineyard

Robert Harold Vineyard, age 80, of Palestine, Texas, departed this life for his heavenly home on Thursday, the 23rd day of October 2025.  Mr. Vineyard was born on the 25th day of July 1945 to parents Wesley Clinton Vineyard and Beatrice Rogers Vineyard.  He was born and raised in Palestine and graduated from Palestine High School in 1964.  Mr. Vineyard worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for over thirty-five years before his retirement.  His job was not merely a professional obligation, but it was a passion that he enjoyed every day. Mr. Vineyard's life was not solely defined by his work. Above all, he was a devoted husband and father, who dedicated his life to nurturing his family.

Left to cherish the warm memories are his daughters, Stephanie Wagner (Pat Wagner), Amanda Newman (Chad Newman), and Crystal Saulters (Gary Saulters); son, Robby Vineyard (Sonya Vineyard); stepdaughters, Kathy Bryan (Bruce Bryan), Becky Gunn Oswald (Frank Oswald), and Misty Gray (Dr. Coleman Gray); brother, Clinton (Foy) Vineyard; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Beatrice Vineyard, wife Bonnie Derden Vineyard, sister Billie Calame, and his brother Floyd Vineyard.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of Robert Vineyard are to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 30th day of October 2025 at Roselawn Park.
