Robert Allen Warren, age 69, of Elkhart, Texas, passed away peacefully on the 3rd day of October 2024, in Elkhart, Texas. Born on the 28th day of August 1955, in Palestine, Texas, to parents William Warren and Aileen Burns Warren, Robert's life was a testament to the virtues of simplicity and joy in everyday pleasures.
Robert's early years in Palestine laid a strong foundation for a life characterized by hard work and dedication. His career in the oilfield was marked by the same tenacity and commitment he devoted to every endeavor. A proud United States Navy Veteran, Robert served his country with honor and integrity, carrying the lessons of service and discipline throughout his life.
Those who knew Robert understood his love for having a good time. His laughter was infectious, and his presence could light up a room. A man of simple tastes, he found contentment in the tranquility of his garden, where he would spend hours nurturing his plants. A true Texan at heart, Robert's passion for the Dallas Cowboys was unmatched. He rarely missed a game, and his enthusiasm for his team was evident to all.
An avid follower of current events, Robert enjoyed watching the news, staying informed on the happenings around the world. His curiosity and engagement with the world around him were parts of what made him such a well-rounded individual.
Robert Allen Warren's memory will continue to inspire and comfort those he left behind including his daughter, Jennifer Beam and husband Elliott, of Henderson, Texas; son, Justin Warren and wife Ashley Stewart, of Lumberton, Texas; grandchildren, Averie Warren, Brittany Shipp, Keith Shipp, Ashleigh Hardee, Emaleigh Watlington, Breanna Warner, and Nevaeh; brothers, Russell Warren and wife Tina, Park Warren, and Bill Warren. Robert is also survived by the mother of his children, Kim Damron; best friend, Teresa Armstrong; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Aileen Warren.
Graveside services with military honors are to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 8th day of October 2024 at Cedar Creek Cemetery (Our Acre) with Bro. David Darst officiating the service.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Justin Warren, Keith Shipp, Park Warren, Elliott Beam, Jack Armstrong, Stewart Fincher, Mark Stuteville, Bill Warren, and Russell Warren.
Robert's legacy is one of love, friendship, and the joy of life's simple moments. He will be remembered for his easy smile, his generous spirit, and his unwavering support for his loved ones and friends. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
