Robin Ann VanNatter

Robin Ann VanNatter, age 55, of Palestine, Texas, passed peacefully into her eternity with Jesus on Friday, the 22nd day of May 2020, at her residence.  She was born on the 5th day of June 1964, to Harry Franklin VanNatter and Donna Sue Townsend.  Robin loved Indians, wolves, dream catchers, country music, and flowers with the yellow rose of Texas being her favorite.  She loved to vacation in Colorado.  She adored her family and expressed her love for them each day. Her family was very special to her, and she often went places with them just so she could be around them more.   Children and animals were very dear to her. 

Robin is preceded in death by her father, Harry Franklin VanNatter; and step-siblings, Charles VanNatter and Jane VanNatter.

She is survived by two daughters, Chasity Ann Portillo and husband Kevin, and Jessica Lynn Bruce and husband Donovan Gregory; mother, Donna Sue Townsend and husband Milton Wayne; three sisters, Lorinda Sue Prater and husband Allan Graham Prater of Palestine, Texas, Melissa Michelle Britt of Florida, Vivian Kelly of Conroe, Texas; four brothers, Brandon Scott Townsend of Katy, Texas, Franklin Todd VanNatter of Katy, Texas, Jeffery Ardell VanNatter of Florida, Hugh Franklin VanNatter and wife Sandra of Virginia, eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will commemorate Robin’s life in a private celebration at a later date.

Cremation services for Robin Ann VanNatter are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
