Sherrie Lynn Parks Sarver, age 50, of Elkhart, Texas, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, the 28th day of April 2022. Sherrie was born on the 21st day of January 1972, in Palestine, Texas, to parents William F. Parks and Juanita Parks Seckler.
Sherrie worked at Hambone’s Cajun Grill in Old Town Palestine. She had a heart of gold and always put others first. Sherrie was a generous person, whether it was financially or of her time, and was always thinking of others. Sherrie had overcome many trials in her life including being a cancer survivor. Sherrie was always joking around and had the best sense of humor. She adored her grandchildren and cherished her many friends. Sherrie embraced nature. She enjoyed riding backroads in the country, long walks, and found pleasure riding her tractor and working in her yard. Life without Sherrie will never be the same, but her memory will live on forever.
She is preceded in death by her fathers, William Parks and Joe C. Seckler.
Sherrie will be missed by her sons, Taylor Parks, Austin Sarver, and Justin Sarver; daughter in law, Megan Ashlee Parks; mother, Juanita Parks Seckler; brother, David Parks; sister, Anita Parks Hamm and husband David Hamm; grandchildren, her pride and joys Skylar Parks and Caiden Hickson.
A funeral service to celebrate Sherrie Sarver’s life is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon, on Thursday, the 5th day of May 2022, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.
