Steven E. Wilson, of Houston, Texas, beloved teacher and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved him on Saturday, the 17th day of November 2024, at the age of 70. He was born in Houston, Texas on the 6th day of February 1954 to parents Earl Wilson and Mary Starns Wilson.
Known affectionately as Mr. Wilson to his students and colleagues, he dedicated his life to educating young minds about the rich tapestry of Texas history. After earning his bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University, Mr. Wilson embarked on a rewarding career as an educator. His passion for history was infectious, and he had a unique talent for bringing the stories of the past to life in his classroom.
Mr. Wilson's legacy as an educator and his impact on the countless students he taught will be remembered for years to come. His dedication to his profession and his love for others has left an indelible mark on the community. Mr. Wilson will be deeply missed, but his teachings will live on through the lives he touched.
