Teresa Ann (Brummett) Henson

Teresa Ann Henson, age 50, of Oakwood, Texas passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, the 10th day of April 2020, at Hospice of East Texas Homeplace.  She was born on the 18th day of November 1969, in Long Beach, California, to Nelson Brummett and Diane Conarroe.

Teresa was a faithful Christian and member of Bible Baptist Church in Buffalo.  She loved children and was a mother to everyone.  Teresa enjoyed hunting, fishing and went to every sports game in Oakwood.  She was full of life and will be missed by many family and friends.

Teresa leaves behind her loving husband Bobby Henson; father, Nelson Brummett; mother, Diane Brummett; mother-in-law, Doris Lott; daughter, Misty Dawn Henson; son, Robert Michael Henson and wife Jennifer; sister, LaKay Beckham and husband Jared; brother, Richard Brummett; and grandchildren, Zachary Henson, Sara Henson, Kaytlyn Williams and Alana “Lala” Williams.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Due to current concerns surrounding the health of our community, a private graveside service to celebrate Teresa’s life will be conducted at half past ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 15th day of April 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery with Bro. Paul Pryor officiating.  The service will be private, and attendance limited.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions in Teresa Henson’s memory can be directed towards St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
