Tobey Jo (Boyd) Myrick

Tobey Myrick, age 33, of Tennessee Colony, Texas, left this world for her home in Heaven with our loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, the 10th day of October 2021.  Tobey was born on the 15th day of April 1988, to parents Donald Boyd and Tonya Kale.

Tobey was born and raised in Palestine, Texas and attended Cayuga I.S.D.  While in school she participated in various sports and formed many friendships.  Tobey was a very dedicated mother to her two biological children and other children as well.  Being a mother was her main priority in life and she took great pride in raising her two biggest blessings. Tobey had an extremely charismatic personality.  When she walked into a room her presence was always known.  She was very opinionated and always let you know where she stood.  She loved being outdoors and taking advantage of everything that nature had to offer.  Tobey was full of energy and had a loving spirit that will live on in the hearts of her children, family, and many friends.

Tobey is survived by her daughter, Taylee Rigsby; son, Jaxon Myrick; father and stepmother, Donald Boyd and wife Connie; mother and stepfather, Tonya Fryar and husband Morgan; paternal grandparents, Gary and Rebecca Boyd; maternal grandparents, JoAnn and Ray Payton, and Bruce Kale; maternal great-grandmother, Florence Kale; sister, Amber Brooks and husband Scott; brothers, Cota Wilburn and wife Emily, and Nathan Wilburn and wife Dana; stepbrother, Trinton Fryar.  Tobey is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 14th day of October 2021 at Rhone Funeral Home.

A graveside service to celebrate Tobey Myrick’s life is to be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon, on Friday, the 15th day of October 2021 at Carroll Springs Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Donald Boyd, Cota Wilburn, Nathan Wilburn, Glen Wilburn, Ray Rigsby, and Trinton Fryar.  Troy Wacha will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Funeral services for Tobey Myrick are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
