Tommie Linda (Spinks) Corbin

Tommie Linda Corbin, of Huntsville, went to be with the Lord on the 8th of December 2020. She passed away on her 76th birthday. Mrs. Corbin was born December 8th, 1944, in Porter Springs, Texas, to parents Joe Crawford Spinks and Lela Smith Spinks.

Mrs. Corbin lived a life dedicated to her loving our Lord and Savior. She devoted numerous hours serving at church activities and various community events at Calvary Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, before becoming a member of Second Baptist Church in Huntsville. Her best memories were made spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Tommie was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Lela Spinks; sisters, Joe Ann Blackwell, Nancy Spinks Gilbert; brothers, William Rudd Spinks, Henry Spinks, and Lawrence "Snuffy" Carroll Spinks, and daughter-in-law Madeline "Joy" Corbin.

Mrs. Corbin is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill Corbin; their children David Corbin of Gilmer; Cody Corbin and wife Kerri of Lorena; Rhonda Corbin of Huntsville; Misti Dibble and husband Matthew of Snyder; sisters Susie Weisinger and husband Jimmy; Lucy Sherrod, Sallie Reid and husband Bobby; brother Kirby Spinks and wife Linda; 12 Grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren who were her whole heart and world. Mrs. Corbin is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to visit and share memories with the family from one o'clock in the afternoon until four o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday the 16th of January, at 41 Baker lane, Huntsville, Texas.

A Celebration of Life service to honor Mrs. Corbin's life will begin at two o'clock in the afternoon.
