Tracy Anderson

Tracy Anderson, age 48, of Oakwood, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, the 15th day of May 2022.  He was born in Dallas, Texas, on the 27th day of June 1973, to parents Lonzo Anderson, Sr. and Elise Johnson Anderson.

Tracy was a loving family man with a bubbly personality.  He could best be described as a hard worker who never quit until the job was done.  He was incredibly athletic and enjoyed playing various sports growing up.  He had a special relationship with his brothers, Lonzo and Darrell.  The three had a bond that was unbreakable and lasted a lifetime.  Tracy passed away too soon but will live on in the lives of his family and friends who loved him immensely.     

Tracy is preceded in death by his father, Lonzo Anderson, Sr., and grandparents, Bessie Mae Johnson, John Johnson, Hattie Mae Anderson, and Lugenia Anderson.

Tracy leaves behind his mother, Elise Johnson Anderson; sons, Jalen Anderson, and Tyreek Anderson; brothers, Lonzo Anderson, Jr. and wife Meca, Darrell Lamount Anderson; uncles, Ray Charles Anderson, Thomas Johnson, Cecil Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Donald Ray Johnson; aunt, Wonda Johnson; nephew, Zion Anderson; niece, Elyssa Gonzales; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Tracy Anderson’s life is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 21st day of May 2022, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darrell Hammond officiating.  Interment will follow in Bluff Cemetery in Oakwood, Texas. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the start of the service at Rhone Funeral Home.
