Tucker Dean Meyer, the cherished infant son of Gus Meyer and Kaycie Baker Meyer, was born into the arms of angels on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Though his time on earth was far too brief, Tucker was deeply loved from the very beginning. His arrival was eagerly anticipated by family and friends as his parents looked forward to welcoming him in October 2026. Every hope, dream, and prayer for their precious son reflected the immense love already surrounding him.
Tucker was named in honor of his maternal grandfather, Marcus Dean Inman, carrying forward a treasured family connection. As they eagerly awaited his arrival, Gus and Kaycie looked forward to creating a special nursery with a cheerful duck theme, a reflection of the joy, excitement, and dreams they held for their precious son.
While Tucker never had the opportunity to experience this world, he forever changed the hearts of those who loved him. His life, though brief, will always be remembered as a gift and a blessing.
Tucker is survived by his devoted parents, Gus and Kaycie Meyer; his maternal grandparents, Marcus Dean and Tanyna Inman, of Louisiana; his paternal grandparents, Gus and Isabel Meyer of Elkhart; his great-grandmothers, Janet Meyer and Wanda Tamplin; his aunts, Megan Meyer and Morgan Nelson; his uncle, Jhonathon Meyer; and numerous extended family members who will forever cherish his memory.
The family finds comfort in God's promise:
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you." — Jeremiah 1:5
And in the assurance that:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18
A private family service will be held to honor Tucker's precious life. The family is deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support they have received during this difficult time.
