Virginia Carrizales, age 77, of Palestine, passed away peacefully on Thursday, the 25th day of June 2020. She was born on the 21st day of September 1942, in Tlalcosahua, Jalisco Mexico, to parents Jose Maria Castillo and Juanita Campa Castillo.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Juanita Castillo.
Mrs. Carrizales is survived by her husband of 56 years, Pedro Carrizales; daughters, Mary Sexton and husband Stephen, Martha Lara and husband Raul Flores, Nancy Carrizales and husband Edwin Arredondo; sons, Pedro “Pete” Carrizales and wife Araceli Perez, Carlos Carrizales and wife Angela, Jose Carrizales and wife Ivette; sister, Consuelo Castillo; grandchildren, Cynthia, Michelle, Stacy, Brandon, Fallon, Gabby, Victoria, Julia, Matthew, Marco, Mila, Jason, Ashley, Jose Jr., Juliana, Noah, Lucas, and Luna. Mrs. Carrizales is also survived by her great grandchildren, Daniella, Francisio Jr., Carlos, Nayeli, Sergio, Ivan, Alyssa, Alex, Ka’leah, and Aniyah.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening, on Thursday, the 2nd day of July 2020 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel, where recitation of the Holy Rosary is to commence at six o’clock in the evening.
The Mass of Christian Burial is to be offered at ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 3rd day of July 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jonathon Frels officiating.
The Rite of Committal, via an escorted procession, will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Palestine.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers during the services are Jose Carrizales, Jr., Brandon Carrizales, Jason Lara, Jose Villareal, Kevin Barrientez, and Macario Elias.
