Yvonne Marie Bice

Yvonne Marie Bice, of Tennessee Colony, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, the 8^th day of October 2022, at the age of 87.  Mrs. Bice was born on the 27^th day of March 1935, in Bonham, Texas to parents Jim Milner and Myrtle Hicks Milner.

Mrs. Bice was a loving Christian lady who had a sweet, generous soul and a heart of gold. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.  Mrs. Bice was delighted when she became a grandmother, and her grandchildren brought her as much joy and love as she brought them.

Mrs. Bice enjoyed the outdoors, working in her garden, and spending time fishing with her family. She also found great joy working in her kitchen and she became an excellent cook and a master at baking. Mrs. Bice was loved by many people and will be sorely missed until the day we see her again. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Myrtle Milner; husband, Robert Bice; daughter, Terry Carpenter; sons, Robert Allen Bice, III, Frank Edward Bice, and Lynn Austin Bice; sister, Rosalee Vineyard; brothers, Frank King, Doris King, and Manuel King; and her granddaughter, Lori Bice.

Mrs. Bice is survived by her daughter, Sandra Ferriera and husband Fred; sisters, Rummel Nicholas and Lita Casanovoa; grandchildren, Terry Hawk, Felice Dodson, John Bice, Krista Bice, Clifford DeDeLaPaz, and Contessa Waymeyer; eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Yvonne Bice is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning, on Thursday, the 13^th day of October 2022, at Brookside Memorial Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Freeway in Houston, Texas, with Bro. Billy Shaw officiating.
Graveside services for Yvonne Marie Bice are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
