My condolences to the family of Mrs Odell. May you find comfort in God's promise (John 5::28,29) and may the happy memories support you during this difficult time.

Dear Carmen, Ruth Ann, Henry, and Tommy,
I will always remember your mom as my favorite aunt. After the Dailey reunions were over, Mazie and I would sometimes spend the night at your home. One time your mom had some fabric and a pattern for pajamas for us to share (but not Henry or Tommy). I don't know why that stuck in my mind. I just had a sense of Aunt Ouita as a very caring, thoughtful person who loved children.
When Mazie and I learned that Aunt Ouita was living in Arlington, we called her and visited her. She was as adorable and gracious as ever. The best reunion was 2016, I think. Aunt Ouita was there, Carmen was there, and Ruth Ann was there. Now I call that a blast from the past. I had seen Tommy at other previous reunions, and he was as charming as ever.
Memories are wonderful, and some of the best ever were made in Grapeland, Texas. I love you and I'm so sorry for you loss. No one could ever take her place. By the way, Ruth Ann, do you still arrange your closet by dresses, skirts, blouses, slacks, and colors?
Love and condolences,
Mary Louise

A true Lady in every sense of the word. She had such a quiet, gentle spirit, if I could even become one half the lady she was, I would consider myself complete. Thank you for allowing me to know you Ms. Ouita. I know you have already heard those words we all strive to hear one day, “Well done, My good and faithful servant.”
